Western Province Seminar

This past weekend, the Coetzenberg Gym at Stellenbosch University played home for the Western Province seminar as well as the first ever interdojo compeition hosted in the Western Cape.

For the first time ever the Western Cape is home to 3 Kendo dojos making an interdojo possible. The first was hosted by Kenshin Kendo Dojo from Cape Town. Invitations to attend the seminar and inerdojo were extended to all dojos in the country, as part of the SAKF's new initiative to promote interprovincial kendo. Some lucky few Gautengers were able to make it down to Stellenbosch and added to the number of attendees.

The seminar was headed by: Sensei Buster Sefor (7th Dan)Sensei Cedric Jacques (5th Dan)Fernando Witbooi (4th Dan)Brendan Dateling (4th Dan)Wendy Vermeulen (3rd Dan)
