South African Women's Kendo

This past weekend the newly created South African Women's Commission had their first inaugural meeting, where important aspects regarding improving and promoting women's kendo were discussed.

It is great to see that women's kendo is getting a bit of personal attention. Hopefully this will ensure that our female numbers grow and that one day there will be as many women practicing kendo in South Africa as men.

If you are a new beginner female kendoka you are more than welcome to attend any and all South African Women's Commission events. As their efforts are to improve the kendo experience of all female kendoka, whether senior, in armour or just starting out.
